Northeast Hospitality Institute (NEHI) was founded by a visionary academic and entrepreneur with a deep commitment to empowering youth through skill-based education. Our founder holds a Master’s degree in Political Science (Hons), an MA in MTTM (Master of Tourism and Travel Management), and specialized diplomas in Child Psychology and Grief & Career Counseling from Counsel India, under the accreditation of Mount Bridge University. She is also a Ph.D. researcher, combining academic insight with real-world entrepreneurial experience.

Meri Hunnar Meri Aapni Pehchaan is an initiative established in 2017 in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, aimed at promoting young and small entrepreneurs. Registered with the Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh and NITI Aayog, it supports local talent through:
Marketing and financial aid via events.
Setting up training and production centers for trades relevant to rural people, women, and youth.
Activities in agriculture, horticulture, fisheries (including upcoming Biofloc fish farming), etc.
Establishing nursing homes, educational institutions, and counseling centers.
Promoting the state’s art, culture, fashion, and sports.
Running its own emporium to showcase local products.
